cONCH REPUBLIC is a “Trop Rock” or beach band (often referred to as a Jimmy Buffett tribute band) and the recipient of the 2010 Rising Star Award for Top Beach Band by GigMasters.com, the number one online booking venue for world-class performers. . The CONCH REPUBLIC show is high-energy and focuses on crowd participation. Since 2006, this “band of pirates” has been “bringing the beach” to fans across the mid-west and southern states including venues such as Margaritaville Key West, Cheeseburger In Paradise in OH; parrot head events in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Illinois; festivals, winerys, and corporate events across Alabama, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Virginia and Ohio; ; and casinos in Mississippi where we had the honor of opening for the Beach Boys. And now CONCH REPUBLIC is ready to travel any distance to bring the beach party to YOU!
We offer two primary options when booking the band. We do our best to tailer each show to fit your event and budget. Please contact us to discuss your event and allow us to work with you on what we can do to customize a show that will make your event a HUGE success!
CONCH REPUBLIC:
This is the party you want! Not just a band, we make it a party! First, we set the stage with a colorful back-drop, tons of beachie decorations, and up to 9 musicians (including vocals, electric guitar, keyboards, acoustic guitar, ukulele, steel drums, congass, bongos, full drum kit, all kinds of other fun percussion instruments, bass, vocals and dancers/backup singers) for a very FULL sound and exciting performance. Next, we add lots of fun and games with conga lines, hula hoops, a limbo set, beach balls and more! Our set list includes all your tropical and beach favorites to bring the island feel to your event! ! We even slip in a few other ”party” favorites to keep everyone singing along and out on the dance floor!
CONCH ON THE HALF SHELL
“Conch On The Half Shell” is a lively, acoustic show made up of four or five musicians of the band CONCH REPUBLIC. Their music includes a blend of congas, steel drums, other percussion, vocals, ukulele and acoustic guitar, which instantly takes you down to the islands! Whether it be a Hawaiian luau or Caribbean beach party, “Conch On The Half Shell” has the tropical sounds and high energy sto bring the party to life! With island music from Jamaica to Tahiti – from Jimmy Buffett to the Beach Boys – they have the perfect blend for Trop Rock fun! Still the fun, beachy songs you love, but unplugged and without the beach back-drop, lights, and beachie props. This show works great for smaller clubs or venues where there is not much space. This show is performed with a smaller sound system that is suitable for smaller venues or events on a smaller budget.
